1. Application background

Countless fire accidents occur in various parts of the world every year, causing many casualties and property losses. After my country's reform and opening up, the public security fire department also referred to the fire protection codes of advanced countries and formulated comprehensive fire protection design, installation and acceptance codes that conform to my country's national conditions. However, after strict fire regulations, fires that cause casualties and property losses still occur from time to time. The results of the adjustment found that, in some cases, fire-fighting facilities were not properly managed and properly maintained after the fire broke out, which caused the failure to call the police in time or initiate the fire extinguishing process, causing the fire to continue to spread. Therefore, for a building, no matter how its fire protection design meets the requirements of the specification and how complete its fire protection facilities are, it lacks complete management and regular or regular maintenance. When a fire occurs, it may malfunction. Does not have the effect of extinguishing fire. It can be seen that the daily management and maintenance of fire-fighting facilities are of great significance.

Enterprises and units are aware of this problem, purchase fire-fighting equipment, register fire-fighting equipment, and establish a personnel inspection and replacement system to ensure the usability of fire-fighting equipment to a certain extent. However, it is undeniable because of the lack of effective information management and supervision. Means, there are actually big loopholes in the daily inspection management, there are many imperfect management places, heavy inventory work, poor inspections, equipment loss and other issues, which have buried great security risks.

2. System introduction

The use of advanced information technology to strengthen information management capabilities, strengthen the supervision of the inspection process, improve the management level of the entire fire protection equipment, and eliminate potential safety hazards is urgent.

The core of the management of fire-fighting equipment is the establishment of basic data, and the collection and acquisition of data information at various key nodes. Since its application during World War II, RFID radio frequency identification technology has been paid more and more attention. More and more industries have begun to pay attention to the function and practicality of RFID. R&D personnel have successively developed generations of stable performance. Information collection equipment and information storage equipment that meet a variety of needs have quickly expanded the use of RFID to various fields. In fixed asset management, RFID has played a very important role.

RFID technology uses wireless electromagnetic waves to achieve data transmission and interaction. It is a non-contact automatic identification technology. The identification process does not require manual intervention and can work in various harsh environments. RFID is inexhaustible, it can identify high-speed moving objects and identify multiple tags at the same time. Therefore, the application of RFID technology to the management of fire-fighting equipment can make the management of equipment easy and simple, avoid data errors and time consumption caused by manual operation and recording, and solve the problems in the existing management mode. The safe use of equipment provides protection.

3. System design

The fire-fighting equipment management system based on RFID technology installs RFID electronic tags on the fire-fighting equipment, binds corresponding asset information in the background, and collects RFID electronic tag information at key nodes and processes to accurately obtain detailed asset information. .

3.1 System framework

The basic framework of the system is as follows:

3.2 System flow

3.2.1 Paste a passive rfid tag on all fire-fighting equipment within the jurisdiction. There is memory on the tag, which can record the purchase time, expiration time, installation time, person in charge, number of inspections and other information of the fire-fighting equipment.

3.2.2 The system establishes electronic files of fire-fighting equipment, stores them in the central server of the management department, and provides the function of expiration alarm. The system will give an alarm on the management page of the unit, and will also send a text message to the mobile phone of the relevant person or person in charge of the unit to remind them to replace it.

3.2.3 The fire management department arranges the inspection plan of each unit and the random inspection plan of the management department. These plans can be annual plans, monthly plans, weekly plans, temporary plans, etc. The system will automatically generate SMS content according to the plan and send it to The relevant executor of each unit reminds the person (unit) to carry out the inspection of fire protection equipment on the mobile phone, and the plan can also be downloaded to the mobile data collection terminal of the specific executor.

3.2.4 The inspection personnel of each unit and the random inspection personnel of the management unit are equipped with a mobile data collection terminal, which can communicate with the rfid tags on the fire-fighting equipment, and can also communicate with the upper computer (management computer). Each inspector receives the inspection plan from the management department and scans (reads) each fire-fighting equipment in turn. At this time, an inspection record will be formed in the handheld. If the equipment is found to be damaged or not functioning properly, The inspector will make the corresponding selection on the handheld and save it in the inspection record.

3.2.5 Each sampling inspector receives the sampling plan from the management department, and then arrives at the designated unit to read the fire-fighting equipment of the unit in turn. At this time, the inspection record will be formed in the handheld. If the equipment is found to be damaged , Or the function is not normal, the sampling personnel will make the corresponding selection on the handheld and save it in the sampling record.

3.2.6 The management department obtains the relevant record data of each unit, performs statistics, analysis, and forms various reports, and according to different inspection records, supervises the responsible unit to perform related maintenance or replacement work, and completes the supervision of the fire equipment in each area .

3.3 System characteristics

Display the current status of each fire-fighting equipment dynamically, and understand the status of each fire-fighting equipment anytime and anywhere.

You can determine the location (coordinates) of the fire-fighting equipment when setting the basic data, and then the system will display the location and status of the equipment according to the real-time inspection records, whether it is intact, faulty or expired, and the system will display it in different colors Mark, let the manager know at a glance.

Analyze the operation information of the inspectors in real time, and effectively supervise the inspectors.

The system has set up multiple plans, such as patrol inspection plan, sampling inspection plan, and then feedback the implementation status of each patrol (sampling inspection) personnel according to the patrol inspection records and random inspection records, so as to effectively supervise the patrol personnel to prevent laziness and do In the event of malpractices, inspections can also be ensured to ensure the safe use of fire-fighting equipment.

It can solve the fault in time and promote the completion of the business.

When the inspector sends the fault information back to the central server, the host computer management system will immediately capture it and notify the relevant personnel to deal with it immediately or as planned, and then monitor the fault handling feedback information in real time. Until the feedback information is obtained, the business is considered to be terminated .

Get a lot of valuable reports.

The management system will comprehensively analyze the various records in the system according to the requirements and provide a large number of reports to facilitate the scientific decision-making of the management.

4. Hardware selection

The fire-fighting equipment management system based on RFID technology has the advantages of long-distance rapid identification, high reliability, high confidentiality, easy operation, and easy expansion. The asset identification system can operate independently and does not depend on other systems.

In this application, the mobile data collection terminal is the source of basic information. Therefore, the RFID performance of the mobile data collection terminal is very important and is the core to ensure the normal operation of the entire system.

ThingMagic M6e-Micro, a UHF RFID mold with ultra-small module structure design and excellent "quick search algorithm", can be embedded in various commonly used handheld and portable devices. It has a reading speed of up to 750 tags/second, low power consumption, fast response after receiving instructions, and stable operation, which is very suitable for application in this project.
